The team succesfully navigated the muddy descent trail down to Mweka gate where we were once again greated by our porters with singing and dancing. A short ride later and we are all back at Simon's farmhouse in Mbahe village for much-needed showers and clean clothes. Tonight we will have a big party with all the guides and porters.
Tomorrow, some will head out on safari and some will go home to our families. But all will leave with memories of an experience of a lifetime and the satisfaction of having stood on the roof of Africa. Thanks go out to all our donors and sponsors, without whom this grand adventure would not have been possible.
