A phenomenal day
Sitting in the tent after another phenomenal day on the mountain. Before we left we were given photos in a locket of some of the children we are helping. My locket had a picture of a girl called beatrice. She looks to be about seven or eight years old. I have to say that every day we have been here I am continually astounded by the beauty of africa particularly here on kili. However thinking that we are helping children like beatrice has been making each step easier even when we are cold and feeling the effect of altitude. Wearing the locket around my neck reminds me that not only is this an incredible experience with a phenomnal group of people, but we are also helping children like beatrice who otherwise would not have a chance. That makes me not only very proud but also very privileged. Love to everyone following us. - ben
