Three of us have birthdays while in Tanzania and tonight we were suprised with cake and song. What a fun Suprise!! The cooks made us a vanilla and chocolate cake which showed their skills as sweet treats are a rarety in Tanzania. We love our cooks!
Earlier today while visiting a local school we got our first glimpse of Kili. Its glacier capped peaks poked through the clouds revealing its challenge and beckoning us to test our skills and endurance on its slope. Tomorrow at 7 am we'll answer the challenge.
Now we're off to get a good night of rest.
